Read Ian Cohen’s review of Smashing Pumpkins’ 1995 magnum opus, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, a Best New Reissue.
I never did appreciate this back when in full. It makes me kind of sad, like I missed on an epic moment as it was happening. The singles that came off that album are amazing, and “Tonight, Tonight” has become one of my favorite songs ever. Might have to have a solo listening party.
